Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking a School Social Worker at Terrace Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year.
Qualifications:
1. Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university. 2. Illinois Professional Educator License with School Social Worker endorsement. 3. Experience in an elementary setting is preferred. 4. Demonstrated strong behavioral and therapeutic skills. 5. Ability to work in a consulting environment. 6. Experience with special education mandates. 7. BCBA preferred. 8. Bilingual Spanish, Russian or Ukrainian preferred.
Working Conditions:
District 62 has approximately 4,500 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, an early learning center and 1 year-around, K-8 school.
