Job Summary
Obtain parts, materials and supplies for the automotive programs and ensure proper billing. Maintain instructional shop and classroom equipment.
Provide student and instructor support.
Essential Functions
Provide student and instructor support in shop area projects.
Maintain parts and supplies price information. Calculate and process work orders. Receive payment for all automotive and collision repairs.
Prepare deposits for business office and maintain cash drawer.
Order, inventory, sell and return parts, materials and supplies. Maintain SDS information and logs to meet EPA and OSHA requirements.
Clean and organize the parts department.
Promote working relationships with dealers, suppliers and business personnel. Act as a liaison on behalf of the customer, instructor(s) and student(s).
Provide work direction and assist student workers in performing routine shop maintenance and repair in accordance with safety regulations.
Perform these repairs in the absence of student or work study help.
