At least five successful years of elementary school teaching, and a solid understanding of elementary school students and adolescent development5. Training in Evaluation and Supervision6. Knowledge of the Common Core State Standards and the development of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessments7. Experience with curriculum mapping is a plus8.
Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills9. Demonstrated proactive approach to student discipline with certification or experience in Behavior management preferred.10. Knowledge of Special Education and 504 procedures11. Working knowledge of RTI and standards of a PLC12.
Knowledge of Emergency Management systems and procedures13.
