Job DescriptionAs the Attendance Coordinator, you will oversee the attendance records of our associates within the organization. You will work closely with the leadership to ensure that productivity hours are accurately recorded and payroll-ready, adhering to compliance standards. You will also help address attendance issues and provide analysis of attendance data. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in a crucial position at Derrick Corporation!
Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring daily attendance and tracking absences, tardiness, and early departures.
  • Generate regular attendance reports for management, highlighting trends and issues.
  • Analyze attendance data to identify patterns and potential problems.
  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations for improving attendance rates.
  • Effectively communicate attendance policies to employees and provide training and guidance as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for attendance questions and concerns.
  • Develop, revise, and enforce attendance policies and procedures.
  • Utilize attendance management systems and software effectively. Stay updated on technological advancements and recommend upgrades as needed.
  • Collaborating with the leadership team to create and modify attendance policies.
  • Serve as the contact person for associates calling off work, ensuring proper tracking, notifying leadership, and adherence to established guidelines and policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in attendance management or HR are a plus.
  • 2 years of proven experience in attendance management, human resources, or similar roles.
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data, and ensure every dataset is accurate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • High numerical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Excel, including formulas and functions (VLOOKUP's and Pivot tables)
  • Experience working with ADP Workforce Now and ADP Enhanced Time preferred.
The base pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
The base pay range represents the low and high end of the Derrick range for this position in the given work location. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors including internal equity, location, education, certifications, and experience. The range(s) listed is just one component of Derrick's total employee compensation package. Other rewards may include profit sharing, paid time off, a 401K plan, and many region-specific benefits.
