Continuum® is an automated inventory control and charge capture business solution. As a Continuum Implementation Technician, you will be the first point of contact for all issues pertaining to Continuum. Manages, builds, and test hardware for Continuum customer projects. Responsible for the on-site implementation of new accounts and providing technical support during implementation. Executes all aspects of the Continuum Solutions by ensuring installations are completed on time, to DeRoyal’s quality standards, with the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Administrative duties for client accounts including but not limited to forecasting, creating Excel worksheets, uploading files, designing room layouts using Microsoft Visio, placing orders, pre-installation walkthroughs, and documentation.

Build and test Continuum hardware, package and ship all equipment to the customer site. Assembles shelving and completes testing while onsite.

Manages account timelines to meet customers’ go-live dates. Utilize Continuum standard tools and templates when conducting customer installations.

Executes all aspects of the Continuum Solution installation including but not limited to installing, testing, training on Continuum hardware and software, creating ISO tickets, and troubleshooting network issues. Manages the installation from project start to closure and communicates issues and resolutions to the Project Manager, Account Manager, Supervisor, and customer promptly.

Provide go-live support, after-hours support (as needed), and maintenance support to customers and participate in on-site visits as needed during the project. Document all calls and emails via Implementation Service Orders (ISO).

Ability to handle multiple installation projects running concurrently.

Present findings from installations to all levels (end users, management, executives) of organizations. Ability to effectively communicate project/study results through professionally written documents and/or oral presentations.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or concerns from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Perform service recovery when required.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications.

Works well under pressure and is comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments. Can shift readily between the “big picture” and the small-but-crucial details, knowing when to concentrate on each.

Requires the ability to prioritize work assignments and work without close supervision.

Manages workstation and keeps 5S organization at all times.

Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.

Manages and maintains hardware inventory for Continuum solutions.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Minimum of at least an Associate’s degree with 2 years of technical experience. Computer Skills and Abilities: Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Windows and iOS Operating Systems. Experience with Smartsheet, Salesforce, and Visio a plus.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Problem Solving, Verbal and written communication, Customer Service, Quality Focus, PC Hardware Assembly, and Soldering. Technical aptitude and mechanical dexterity are a must.
