Dermatology Center of Atlanta, in beautiful Johns Creek (Alpharetta/Duluth area), is looking for a Cosmetic and Medical Dermatology Medical Assistant for a full time position. At least 1 year of medical dermatology experience or 2 years as a medical assistant in another specialty. Willing to train for cosmetic dermatology.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Escorting patient to and from exam room

Obtaining medical history and accurately documenting visit in EHR (EMA)

Assisting providers with patient care, including in-office procedures and cosmetic injectables. Working as a team with the provider

Must be able to multitask while maintaining excellent patient-centered customer service

Patient education

Scribing

Upkeep, stocking and cleanliness of exam rooms and work station

Educating patients, in person and on the phone, including proper documentation

Clean and sterilize medical equipment and instruments

Requirements:

1 years experience in dermatology medical assisting or 2 years medical assisting in another specialty

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

EMR/computer experience (EMA a plus)

Strong personal work ethic and the desire to work with others who care passionately about doing their best for the good of our patients
