Derby Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to provide guidance and support to maintenance technicians and housekeeping personnel, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety standards. Responsibilities include overseeing equipment troubleshooting and repairs, scheduling maintenance tasks, and tracking maintenance metrics. The ideal candidate will have three years of Maintenance Management experience, maintenance certifications, and proficiency in preventive maintenance programs. Experience with light plumbing, electrical maintenance, and PLC troubleshooting is preferred. A Business Management or Maintenance/Engineering degree is advantageous. Summary

Provides supervision and support to maintenance technicians and housekeeping personnel. Works closely with Plant Management to ensure timely repairs, coordinate preventive maintenance, champion implementation of new processes and oversight of projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 Provides model leadership to maintenance and housekeeping personnel.

 Tracks maintenance metrics, such as service requests and downtime.

 Coordinates troubleshooting and repair solutions of warehouse equipment such as, packaging equipment, heat sealing and shrink film applications, small bagging and tie machines, forklifts, pallet wrap machines, etc.

 Plans and schedules maintenance tasks, materials, and activities to minimize downtime while adhering to safety regulations.

 Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

 Supervises two Maintenance Technicians and two Housekeepers.

 Directs work prioritization based on operational needs and facility maintenance.

Qualifications/Skills

 Three years of previous Maintenance Management experience strongly preferred.

 Maintenance certifications strongly preferred.

 Light Plumbing & Electrical Maintenance experience preferred.

 Preventative Maintenance programs & Work Scheduling duties, including use of Microsoft Office software.

 PLC Troubleshooting with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, preferred.

 Understanding of conveyor systems with ability to troubleshooting of motors and controls.

 General maintenance skills.

 Previous forklift operator experience, preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
