Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons, taking orders, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar area.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, and wine
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
Skills:
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines
- Strong math skills for handling payments and making drink recipes
- Hospitality mindset with excellent customer service skills
- Experience in the food industry or restaurant environment
- Effective time management to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Understanding of brewing techniques for craft cocktails or beers
- Previous experience in food service or bartending roles
