Dept of Family & Protectve Svc is Hiring a CPS ROSA Admin Asst II Near San Antonio, TX

CPS ROSA Admin Asst II
Performs routine administrative support and technical program assistance work for the Regional Operation Support Administrator. Work involves disseminating information, maintaining filing systems, and performing internal administrative support work. May train others. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Essential Job Functions:
Prepares and proofreads correspondence, forms or other documents. Provides intermediate level of technical assistance to support area. Communicates on an intermediate level with internal and external stakeholders. Answers telephone, takes messages, and refers to appropriate staff. Maintains records, files, and unit logs. Prepares moderately complex ongoing or special narrative or statistical reports. Schedules meetings, conferences and trainings for unit staff. Attends work on a regular and predictable schedule in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned. Opens and prepares mail for unit distribution.
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures.
Ability to implement administrative procedures, to interpret rules, regulations, policies, and procedures; to communicate effectively; and to train others.
Skill in the use of computers and other standard office equipment and software such as IMPACT, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to communicate information in a clear, effective and professional manner.
Ability to meet deadlines.

Initial Selection Criteria:
Graduation from high school or equivalent. Two years full time administrative support, general office, clerical, secretarial or DFPS experience. Acceptable Substitutions: Thirty (30) semester hours from an accredited college or university may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required experience.
