Machine operators perform all duties related to the production and handling of deposited film. Tasks include: operating sputtering equipment, loading and unloading rolls, maintaining a clean working environment, monitoring sputtering chamber data, assist in quality control measures, and other routine tasks related to production. Machine operators will receive specialized training related to the sputtering process and must learn operating procedures. Operators must be capable of working independently and must be able to lift heavy (50-70 lb) objects.
