The
Assistant Site Manager assists in managing the daily operations across all lines of businesses on-site. The
Assistant Site Manager is responsible for ensuring personnel adhere to company operational policies and cultural standards as well as those of our customers at worksites. This includes, but is not limited to, leading their shift command staff and subordinate supervisors in carrying out the plan for each day, as directed by supervisors. The
Assistant Site Manager will evaluate the performance of personnel and provide hands-on support to perform work when necessary. The role oversees operational results and improves standard operating procedures accordingly.
Essential Functions:- Oversee the day-to-day staff work schedules, authorize overtime, and leave, and establish and assess performance goals to improve team member performance
- Assume role and responsibilities of Site Manager in the absence of the Site Manager, ensuring all lines of operations and service standards/procedures are delivered
- Develop short-term objectives and goals at the site
- Train, develop, and evaluate subordinates, and complete and review subordinate supervisor performance appraisals of officers and staff
- Establish guidelines and protocols for the subordinate supervisors on inspection of facilities, equipment, and personnel
- Oversee proper inventory control is maintained
- Identify operational and administrative deficiencies and provide recommendations for a more efficient operation to the Site Manager
- Mediate, investigate, and respond to on-site concerns and incidents, and immediately notifies Human Resources and the Site Manager
- Assist with the preparation of the department budget, ensure project implementation is completed on time and within budget parameters, and identifies needs for manpower and other resources
- Prepare detailed written reports, forms, and other paperwork with recommendations to the Site Manager
- Serve as liaison between administration and operations
- Ensure coordination of its activities with other units and agencies
- Ensure the Deployed Services culture is instilled and exemplified amongst team members
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and scheduler programs
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills to effectively guide employees

- Must be proactive and take initiative with minimal supervision

- Ability to stand, walk and sit for entire shift, showing strong command presence
- Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365
Education and Experience:- High School diploma or equivalent required, associate degree or a combination of education and experience is preferred
- At least 2-5 years of supervisory experience in business operations and/or janitorial/housekeeping/guard/caregiver is required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
- Ability to possess and maintain a State Licensed Unarmed Security Guard Card/License Non-Commissioned
- Must complete internal supervisor program and obtain a full BI clearance
- Must be able to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated if prior military (No dishonorable discharges)
- Must have resided in the continental U.S. the last three consecutive years (full-time)
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment
