• Tuesday 5:00pm - 9:00pm
• Thursday 5:00pm - 9:00pm 
• Friday 1:00pm - 5:00pm 
• Saturday 11:00am-3:00pm E/O

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Rate of Pay $17/hour $3/hour weekend differential

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct Support professionals (DSP's) work with individuals with disabilities to help them gain skills and more independence in areas such as communication, cooking, housekeeping, budgeting, personal safety, health, and recreation.

We are looking for a DSP to work with one gentleman who lives in his own home. Depending on this individual's activities/outings, the hours may vary. Staff will need to provide transportation around the city as the individual is looking to get into the community more. This individual also likes to go to concerts on Saturday evenings.

The ideal staff is upbeat, flexible to changes in scheduled hours, and non-smoking. Previous experience with hoarding and Autism are strongly preferred but not required.

This individual has 2 cats and ideal staff will enjoy this!

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of relevant work experience
• Experience with Autism, Hoarding, PTSD, Tourette's, and Depression strongly preferred
• Ability to work in a home with pets- specifically cats
• Non-smoking staff preferred
• Ability to read, write and speak English at a level that meets the performance requirements; or must be able to communicate in the language spoken by the individual at a level that meets the performance requirements; whichever is deemed more important by the company.
