Position Overview:

Are you ready to dive into the fascinating world of neurology? We're looking for a passionate Neurodiagnostic Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Neurodiagnostic Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of diagnosing and monitoring neurological disorders, helping patients unlock a brighter future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Embark on brain adventures with electroencephalograms (EEGs) to decode brain signals.
• Navigate nerve pathways with nerve conduction studies (NCS) to unravel mysteries of the peripheral nervous system.
• Illuminate sensory and motor pathways with evoked potential tests (EPs) to uncover hidden potentials.
• Provide real-time support during surgical journeys with intraoperative monitoring (IOM) for nerve-wracking procedures.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare heroes to ensure accurate diagnoses and personalized care plans.
• Tinker with cutting-edge equipment and maintain the neurodiagnostic arsenal for precision testing.
• Educate and empower patients on their neurodiagnostic quests, guiding them through the process with compassion and expertise.
• Document findings with precision and care, ensuring each patient's story is accurately recorded for future reference.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Associate degree in Neurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent education and/or experience required.

Experience:

3 years recent Neurodiagnostic testing experience preferred.

License(s):

The ability to obtain and maintain a Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG.T) from American Board of Electroencephalographic (ABRET) or a Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (R.NCS. T.) from American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET)/ Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT) from American Board of Electroencephalographic (ABRET) is required at time of hire.

Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (EP) from American Board of Electroencephalographic (ABRET) is preferred.

Certification(s):

American Heart Association CPR certification for health care providers is required at time of hire.

Computer / Typing:

Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
