About this Role:
The role of the Premium Payment Program Analyst in the Buy-In Cost Avoidance Unit in the Third Party Liability and Recovery Division's Coordination of Benefits and Administration Branch is to prepare cost-effective analyses, invoices, refunds, and reports for Medicare Premium Payment (Buy-In) program, the Health Insurance Premium Payment (HIPP) program. Under the general supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the Premium Payment Program Analyst will also provide administrative support for the Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment Program (BCCTP) and 250% Working Disabled Program (WDP).

Telework Information
The DHCS standard for hybrid work is a minimum of two days per week in- person and site-based and up to three teleworking days per week. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department’s operational business needs and subject to change consistent with DHCS’ Telework Program and Government Code sections 14200 – 14203. Telework is available to California residents, and proof of residency may be required.
Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee’s designated office and residence subject to regulations and bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the reporting location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
