Duties

  • You will serve as the forward-facing customer representative for the S6 radio section responsible for inventory management of all radio frequency related equipment that support the work done by the section.
  • You will receive equipment and components with work orders from station, tenant, and external commands for routine use and operations within the MCAS Yuma area of operations.
  • You will program radio frequency equipment for both Low Altitude Radio Communications System and Land Mobile Radio equipment for use by tenant and external commands for training as well as first responder support.
  • You will conduct operator familiarization training for command, tenant, and visiting personnel using radio assets.
  • You will work under the direction of a mechanic or supervisor in the fabrication, installation, modification, overhaul, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of electronic equipment.
