COORDINATOR, FAMILY SUPPORT EXTENDED LEARNING (JOB ID: 67174)
Job Title: Family Support Coordinator
Department: Extended Learning & Community Schools
Location: Acoma Campus
Schedule: 235 Work Year Schedule
Salary Range: $54,018 - $64,822

Overview and Purpose:
Supports individuals, teams and/or departments through facilitating and regulating a series of activities and work streams. Carries out specific tasks based on established procedures, to ensure a broader set of priorities and objectives are met. Primary focus on execution of assigned tasks in a specific area of responsibility, with a non-technical scope and a high degree of customer service. Leads special events or new project initiatives to maximize site capacity and further engage participants in services. Supports the ongoing expansion of services offered at Discovery Link sites and leads outreach with families.

Essential Functions and Objectives:
  • Specializes in Customer Service Relations and Supports all Extended Learning and Community Schools Programs
  • Leads parent and caregiver engagement activities and outreach related to opening new sites and programs
  • Plans and runs all parent and caregiver learning opportunities
  • Responds to all parent and caregiver inquiries about programs and manages the help-ticketing system
  • Plans and runs staff training related to registration and enrollment
  • Leads registration and enrollment for the department
  • Leads department communications across multiple channels including social media feeds, department newsletter, email, and print
  • Manages all billing, receivables, and reconciliation of student fees and state and partner subsidies

Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent - required
  • Bachelor’s Degree - preferred

Knowledge, Experience, & Other Qualifications:
  • 3 years of business operations, project management, or related field
