Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to landscape construction and maintenance. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for growth within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Install hardscape elements including patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Perform plumbing tasks for irrigation systems and water features
- Interpret and follow landscape schematics to ensure accurate installation of plants, trees, and other landscape elements
- Utilize carpentry skills for fence installation, deck construction, and other outdoor structures
- Assist with cabinet installation for outdoor kitchens or storage areas
- Collaborate with construction management team to plan and execute landscape projects
- Apply concrete finishing techniques for sidewalks, driveways, and other concrete surfaces
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in landscape construction or related field
- Knowledge of hardscape installation techniques and materials
- Familiarity with plumbing principles for irrigation systems and water features
- Ability to read and interpret landscape schematics accurately
- Skilled in carpentry for fence installation, deck construction, etc.
- Strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques
- Knowledge of construction management principles is beneficial
