Job Summary Under minimal supervision, the Doula Program Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Denver Health Doula Program. Responsibilities include administrative support to the Denver Health Doula Program Director, coordination of the doula training program and monthly meetings, educational enrichment sessions, orienting and onboarding doulas, managing the doula calendar, availability to receive trainees' questions and concerns, and other needs. The Program Coordinator will also maintain program evaluation data and recruit new talent to the DHDP team.
Essential Functions :
- Assists DHDP Director and educator in planning bi-annual doula education program. (10%)
- Oversees trainee scheduling for shadow and independent shifts (5%)
- Oversees staff doula scheduling and handles communication updates as conflicts and changes arise. (10%)
- Schedules and coordinates monthly educational sessions for staff. (10%)
- Manages doula trainee and new staff onboarding/offboarding requirements at DH including scrub access, IT access, badging, parking, etc.. (10%)
- Develops and maintains tracking systems as needed for trainee requirements, evaluations, and assessments. (10%)
- Identifies issues with processes, determines the cause of the issue, and implements solutions. (5%)
- Maintains shared folders, system for data management, and website management. (10%)
- Facilitates and manages requests, complaints, and communications with Denver Health doula program stakeholders. Exercises good judgment, discretion, and diplomacy in communications. (15%)
- Ensures program files, policy and procedure manuals, protocols, and reports are maintained and compliant with retention policies. (10%)
- Attends formal educational classes as required by Denver Health. Pursues learning opportunities to enhance performance. (5%)
Education :
- Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field, preferred. An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training can be substituted. Required
Work Experience :
- 1-3 years Relevant work experience: coordinating and managing education programs, preferably in the medical field.
Required or - 1-3 years Experience supporting families as a doula through birth and postpartum strongly preferred. Required
Licenses :
- ICBD-Certified Birth Doula - DAA - Doula Accredited Association (various) Required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to work efficiently and independently, demonstrating initiative in handling day to day program needs
- Able to work collaboratively with a large group of individuals
- Able to prioritize and manage many competing interests
- Familiar with use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Salary $23.85 - $32.26 / hr
