Denver Broncos, Stadium Management Company is Hiring a Senior Manager of Marketing, Head of Cheer Operations Near Denver, CO

JOB SUMMARY: The Sr. Manager of Cheer Operations (SMCO) is responsible for leadership of the day-to-day business operations for both the Denver Broncos Cheer program and the Junior Denver Broncos Cheer program ensuring they are fully integrated into the overall marketing/fan engagement strategy. This is inclusive of oversight, planning and execution of auditions, gameday performances, team sponsorships, public appearances, management of team vendor relationships and content creation. This SMCO will also make meaningful contributions to the Marketing Department by assisting with the planning and execution of fan-facing promotions & initiatives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees Business Operations and Administrative functions of department by overseeing yearly audition process for selection of the team, developing and managing annual budget, setting department KPIs, securing sponsors in collaboration and alignment with corporate sponsorships team, coordinating payroll, content creation, issuing tickets, providing gameday meals, uniform management, working with choreographers to select routines, run game day rehearsal and coordinate music selection and working with Game Entertainment team on pre-game, half-time, and break time shows. This role will also manage a support staff consisting of two (2) part-time Choreographers, and two (2) full-time Coordinators a daily basis to ensure all responsibilities are handled and executed at the highest standards. Oversees planning and strategy for all aspects of the Junior Denver Broncos Cheerleaders program and responsible for participant recruitment and revenue generation. Will implement programs, social media strategies, events, and procedures to grow JDBC interests while continuing to preserve its unique legacy. Supports and helps lead integrated marketing and affinity group activations to grow fanbase by increasing engagement and avidity with/for the Broncos. This is inclusive of assisting in research, planning and execution of yearly events hosted by the marketing department. Serves as leader and mentor for cheer staff and the individuals selected to represent the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders inclusive of inspiring and helping to ensure everyone represents team and brand values, upholds integrity and ethics. Be a moral compass for team and department through planned team events. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSResumeCover LetterB.A. or B.S. Degree from an accredited 4-year College3 years’ experience with a professional cheerleading organization5 years’ marketing experience with a sports team at a professional or collegiate level Experience coaching and mentoring to young women.Ability to work all home Broncos games, nights/weekends, holidays, and keep a flexible schedule.Experience managing business/sponsorship accounts and working with partner clients.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be highly motivated, with strong communication, business, organizational, and customer-service oriented skills.Candidate must be energetic, responsible and extremely detail oriented. PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITYKnowledge of the NFL gameday experienceUnderstanding of the DBC Legacy and program historyPrior experience as a professional sports cheerleaderAbility to travel (domestic & international) as required. In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is $68,000 - $80,000.
