Denver Broncos Football Club is Hiring a Strategy & Business Intelligence Intern Near Englewood, CO

JOB SUMMARY: The Strategy and BI&A intern will sit at the integration point between the two business units, helping support both functions drive the long-term vision and goals of the Denver Broncos. The Strategy and BI&A intern will partner directly with business functions to oversee the creation of analytics dashboards that will track KPIs and be used for executive-level reporting. They will also help build out the organization’s strategic capabilities by developing out-of-the-box toolkits/scorecards/frameworks and help lead strategic high priority cross-functional projects.
Duties And ResponsibilitiesDashboard & Executive Report DevelopmentSupport creation of organizational dashboards and executive reports aligned to the Broncos’ strategic planning calendar by:
  • Developing necessary reporting layouts/templates and oversee the execution of executive level dashboards
  • Working directly with Broncos senior staff to assess quarterly business performance and prepare QBR, to be presented out to Broncos senior staff & shared with ownership.
  • Partnering with the President, senior staff, and football ops to prepare Town Hall update and manage presentation/presentation logistics for all Broncos employees.
Strategic Capability BuildingCreating toolkits to support and create strategic capabilities within the organization by:
  • Creating presentations and managing logistics for Lunch & Learn presentations to staff
  • Creating and presenting an out-of-the-box project management toolkit that can be used across the organization.
  • Creating and presenting an out-of-the-box toolkit for executive presentations, including the development of a presentation checklist to assist all business departments.
High Priority Special Projects And Additional SupportRecommend opportunities to enhance fan experience and assist in high visibility business-driving projects by:
  • Researching key fan experience initiatives across the league and creating proposals/operating models for high visibility projects such as (but not limited to): waitlist management. E-sports, STM experiences
  • Supporting department as needed for any high priority projects that may arise.
Minimum Requirements
  • Resume
  • Completed bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program graduating between December ‘24 – June ‘25.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily PowerPoint and Excel
Preferred Skills And Ability
  • Produce high-quality slide decks, financial models, and analytical memos with minimal guidance or supervision.
  • Experience in consulting, strategy, sports, or operations
  • Ability to partner with and communicate effectively with executives
  • Proven track record of collaborating cross-functionally to execute initiatives
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, solutions oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • Detail oriented with strong prioritization and organization skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Experience working under pressure
This internship is for 10 weeks starting the beginning of June 2024.
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected hourly rate will be $28.70. This position is 40 hours a week (in person) with overtime as needed.
The Denver Broncos Football Club offers: Paid Time Off (1 hour for every 30 hours worked) and a 401(k) matching program once you reach 1,000 hours in the plan year.
