• Gaming Solutions– where we create and package solutions for the dentsu network focused on gaming and entertainment.

Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Gaming Strategy to advise our clients in the gaming industry and beyond, on how to engage with gaming culture in a manner that resonates authentically with the gaming community. The goal is to lead meaningful impact and additional value to our clients through gaming initiatives.

This strategic lead will be committed to accelerating growth by developing, selling, and providing solutions that add value to both our clients and the global dentsu network. We are not a separate agency or delivery team, but sit across the entirety of the dentsu network, driving demand and incrementality for clients.

Responsibilities: 

• You have an advanced understanding of gaming platforms, products, and audiences and how brands show up in those spaces.
• You will adopt a consultative approach as you identify our role in solving client challenges through our global portfolio of product solutions.
• You will ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are exceeded.
• You will contribute to meaningful progress and ensure anything we build is representative and inclusive of all.
• You will respond to inbound client briefs, develop POV's for our clients around gaming trends, and utilize dentsu's existing strengths for stronger positioning within the gaming market.
• You will work with Agency Services to draft and present partner proposals or workshops with clients/audiences/markets.
• You will report into the EVP, Global Gaming Vertical Lead and provide case study results into senior management and clients.
• You will develop subject matter expertise around all things gaming, stay up to date with the culture, and have knowledge of how brands should play in this space.
• You will surface examples of work that contribute to leadership that promote our offerings.

Qualifications

• 7 years' experience working with global brands in a marketing, media, or creative fields
• Experience working in an agency model which includes understanding workflows, practicing common language, and working with internal teams.
• Superior storyteller using all forms of communication, technology, and online tools to deliver to a brief.
• Can affectively take concepts and build them into PowerPoint presentations in a meaningful way.
• Unparalleled knowledge of the video game industry.
• Business fluency, both spoken and written in English.

Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $94,000k-152,375k. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law. Additionally, this position is eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. Dentsu's incentive compensation plan is subject to change.
