Denton Lawn Sprinkler, Inc is looking to hire individuals who are interested in learning to become an Irrigation Technician in the Denton County area. Classroom instruction and on the job training will be provided. Trainees will learn how to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, use volt meters, valve locators, hand tools, and repair electrical & hydraulic systems.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Work alongside a Licensed Irrigation Technician as an apprentice, troubleshooting irrigation systems, adjusting and making repairs.
• Assist Lead Technician excavate and back fill areas as needed to make irrigation repairs.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment in good working condition.
• Maintain proper inventory on company vehicle each day.
• Maintain safe working conditions.
• Learn inventory and irrigation parts and troubleshooting techniques.

Scope of Work:

• This position requires an ability to diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation systems, including the ability to excavate and repair buried irrigation components.

Salary:

• $17.00 to $20.00/hour daily goal bonus pay tips

Requirements include:

• Valid Class C driver's license
• Must be able to work in the United States.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Desire to learn about irrigation systems towards obtaining a TCEQ Irrigation Technician License.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
