Description

We are looking for a compassionate, trauma-informed, and team-orientated Director of Clinical Services to lead our clinical services program for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The Director of Clinical Services manages the delivery of counseling services , supervises the agency counseling team, and provides individual and group counseling services to child, adolescent and/or adult survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Employment Status: Full Time, Exempt

Reports to: Executive Program Director

Supervises: Child and Adolescent Counselors, Adult Counselors, Pathways/CAMP Hope, assigned interns and volunteers

Primary Functions:

• Conduct and oversee the delivery of therapeutic groups and individual counseling to agency clients
• Provide crisis intervention services to agency clients
• Maintain client files and records with confidentiality and accurate and complete documentation.
• Collect and report statistical data reflecting the services provided, performance, and results in a timely manner.
• Ensure that counseling staff, services, and activities remain grant compliant.
• Maintain community relationships to best meet the needs of clients.
• Provide presentations, assist in events, attend meetings, and other activities consistent with being in a leadership role.
• Assist in grant proposals and reports developed for child & adolescent counseling.
• Actively communicate counseling program needs to Executive Program Director.
• Participate in DCFOF staff and education meetings as requested.

Requirements

Prerequisites:

• Master’s degree in counseling or social work
• Experience in play therapy
• At least 3 years progressively responsible experience counseling in a social service agency
• Experience in clinical supervision
• Licensed (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Licensed Psychologist)
• Demonstrated knowledge of domestic violence and sexual assault issues

Preferences:

• Bilingual in Spanish

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Ability to easily climb stairs
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
