Dentistry for Children is Hiring a Lead Pediatric Dental Assistant Near Cedar, TX
- Assist Pediatric Dentists: Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of young patients.
- Bilingual Communication: Effectively communicate with patients and parents in English and Spanish for a comfortable experience and better understanding of dental procedures.
- Certifications: Hold essential certifications, including sealant, coronal polish, and nitrous, with experience in Pediatric Dentistry and proficiency in NOMAD X-ray equipment.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on proper oral hygiene practices, emphasizing the importance of early dental health.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, documenting treatment plans, procedures, and relevant information.
- Team Leadership: Lead and guide the pediatric dental assistant team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Sterilization and Infection Control: Ensure strict adherence to protocols for a safe and hygienic clinical environment.
Requirements:
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Certifications: Sealant, polish, nitrous, and NOMAD X-ray equipment experience.
- Experience: Proven experience in pediatric dentistry, focusing on working with children and adolescents.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Availability: Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
