Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. Your primary goal will be to ensure the oral health and well-being of our patients while delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and provide preventive care
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive measures
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systems (Epic)
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses as required
- Adhere to all infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile working environment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care when necessary

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Proficient in performing vital signs assessments and interpreting medical records systems
- Strong knowledge of dental office procedures, including scheduling, billing, and insurance processes
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex dental procedures to patients in a clear and concise manner
- In-depth understanding of dental anatomy, oral pathology, and treatment planning
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or CAD for efficient record keeping
- Knowledge of medical coding for accurate billing purposes
