Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your main responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, performing dental imaging, maintaining medical documentation, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing materials and instruments - Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) using proper techniques and equipment - Perform basic vital signs measurements and record patient information accurately - Maintain aseptic technique and infection control protocols throughout all procedures - Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation using Eaglesoft software - Assist with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions and restorations - Provide chairside support to the dentist during complex procedures - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred - Valid certification in dental assisting required - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures - Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software - Experience with medical imaging equipment and techniques - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.35 - $24.44 per hour
