Job Summary: Provide clinical support to the general dentists delivering direct patient care before, during and after procedures. Patient care, comfort and safety are of primary concern.

• Prepare treatment room with all materials for dental procedures.
• Seat patients and complete all related paper work.
• Take x-rays.
• Assist dentist chairside during dental procedures.
• Use electronic charting to keep records, charges, treatment plans.
• Sterilize instruments, clean exam room.
• Schedule patient appointments.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of vocational dental assistant program preferred.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.
•  Dental experience preferred, Healthcare experience beneficial but must be able to perform essential duties being taught within 90 days on the job.
•  Knowledge and experience using computer software systems is essential.
