Dental Care of Baltimore is Hiring a Dental Treatment Coordinator Near Randallstown, MD

We are seeking a dynamic individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to become a part of our dynamic, innovative, and caring dental practice team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Treatment Coordinator’s primary responsibility is to provide patients with the necessary support and guidance that will aide them in accepting and completing their dental treatment. The Treatment Coordinator must ensure that patients are the number one priority.

  • Present treatment plans to new and established patients.
  • Verify insurance benefits to appropriately calculate patients’ out-of-pocket copays.
  • Ensure that patients pay for and complete their individual treatment plans.
  • Present and document financial options to patients.
  • Follow up on treatment plans that have not been closed.
  • Liaise with Account Manager and Scheduling Coordinator as needed
  • Enters patient information accurately into our patient database.
  • Ensures that procedure codes are accurately entered.
  • Provides patients with a high level of customer service.
  • Schedules and confirms appointments.
  • Collects payments and processes billing.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is required.

SPECIFIC SKILLS:

  • Prior experience is Sales is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Customer service oriented and able to communicate with a pleasant demeanor at all times.
  • Effective written and verbal communication.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, be able to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner.
  • Strong PC skills and ability to learn and successfully use new programs as required.
