Dental Care Associates is seeking a full-time General Dentist to split between Johnstown, PA and Hollidaysburg, PA!
Dental Care Associates is supported by 42 North Dental. 42 North Dental is a leading dental support organization with a patient-focused and doctor-led culture. The [MT1] practices we support benefit from non-clinical administrative and business support, including recruiting and talent management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Educate patients on oral health care and preventive dental care
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Uphold infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in all procedures
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Active state dental license in good standing
- Proficiency in medical coding and documentation
- Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Knowledge of Epic or similar electronic health record systems
- Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring and interpretation
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients of all ages
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of dentistry
