Overview

The Kids Dentist in Mequon, WI is looking for a super fun and energetic Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team!

Duties: 

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling and polishing
• take and develop dental x-rays
• Conduct oral cancer screenings
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
• Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
• Update patient records and maintain accurate documentation of treatment performed 
• Use dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic to manage patient information and appointments

Qualifications: 

• Valid state dental hygiene license
• Associates degree in Dental Hygiene
• Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix or Epic
• Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients on oral health
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. 

Salary: $40-42 per hour
