East Village Dental Centre is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist for our office in Chicago, IL 60622. We offer a great Chicago practice with excellent onsite parking and cutting-edge technology.

Consistency is crucial when working in our clinics. You will have the opportunity to work with the same doctor and team, allowing you to build strong rapport.

Shift Schedules:

Week 1: Wednesday (optional) 7AM-3PM, Thursday 7AM-7PM, Friday 7AM-7PM & Saturday 7AM-3PM

Week 2: Monday - Wednesday 7AM-7PM

Our ideal candidate is someone who is compassionate, energetic, has great interpersonal skills and has a positive and professional demeanor. Experience working as a Dental Hygienist is a plus, however recent grads are encouraged to apply. Must have an active hygiene license for the state of Illinois.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities

• Dental Hygienists are dedicated to improving the oral health of patients through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work and committed to providing exceptional care.
• The Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment, care, and education under limited supervision. They adhere to approved guidelines and regulations set by the state.
• Patient screening, medical history and dental charting. 
• Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line. 
• Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease. 
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Desired Skills:

• Active Hygiene license for the state you applied is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
