Overview

Dental One Associates of College Park, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is actively seeking a skilled and committed Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis (4 days a week).

As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality oral health services to our patients.

Location: 1901 Phoenix Blvd Ste 100, College Park, GA 30349

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct dental cleanings and perform oral examinations to assess patients' oral health.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized oral care instructions.
  • Take X-rays and assist the dentist in treatment planning.
  • Administer fluoride treatments and apply sealants as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Georgia.
  • X-ray certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on dental hygiene experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding patient care.

Working Hours:

This is a full-time position requiring 35-40 weekly hours. The expected working hours are Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with one Saturday a month from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Additional Information:

This position is not remote and will be based at Dental One Associates of College Park in Atlanta.

Responsibilities

  • Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times 
  • Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
  • Patient screening, medical history and dental charting. 
  • Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line. 
  • Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease. 
  • Other duties as assigned
