Dental Hygienist position with lots of perks!! This is a full-time position with flexibility in the schedule. Part-time will also be considered.

Gentle Dental of Thorndale is a well-established family dental practice, with 10 operatory offices and offers full-service dentistry to patients of all ages, under one roof. With our team of friendly and experienced dentists, we offer a wide range of dental services from cosmetic dentistry to orthodontics and implants. Our office is located in the Kohl's shopping center, across from Applebee's. The office is in a great area that's a short drive to Philadelphia. In addition to ample parking, our location is convenient to shopping areas and restaurants (great for lunch breaks!).

Previous experience is always nice, but we welcome new grads to apply as well. We have hygiene coaches for support and mentorship and they will ensure you have what you need. The hygienist we hire must have an active Pennsylvania hygiene license (recent grads must be applying for license soon).

Responsibilities

• Dental Hygienists deliver periodontal therapies and hygiene services to enhance oral health. Candidates should be passionate about dental care and dedicated to providing exceptional service.
• The Dental Hygienist delivers oral hygiene treatment and education under limited supervision, following state-approved guidelines.
• Patient screening, medical history and dental charting. 
• Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line. 
• Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease. 
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Hygiene license required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
