Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, ensuring their oral health and well-being. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation .
Guaranteed base plus production.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Conduct routine cleanings and preventive treatments
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient care
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic dental software systems (Dentrix,
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of dental procedures, techniques, and equipment
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of anatomy
- Familiarity with dental software systems (Dentrix, Eaglesoft) for recordkeeping and treatment planning
- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate treatment recommendations
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Requirements:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
