Automotive Wheel Repair Technician

Responsibilities – Wheel Repair Technician:

Assess and analyze damaged areas to prep for touching up
Jack up cars, removing, lifting, and installing wheels.
Repair damage to a wheel by refinishing and painting the wheel using the techniques provided in training.
Establish and maintain relationships with customers and accounts throughout the Des Moines area!
Remove rust, fill cavities and dents to create an even surface
Mask or tape off areas/components prior to paint application
Mix and match paints to match color specifications or vehicles' original colors
Paint vehicles with a high level of efficiency
Check for runs or sags in the paint to ensure a quality product
Buff and polish vehicles
Ensure the finished product adheres to factory and dealership procedures
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workspace

Qualifications/Requirements - Wheel Repair Technician:

Current automotive Wheel Repair experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person.
I-CAR certification is preferred.
Must maintain a professional appearance.
Must be able to operate a box truck and perform mobile work.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record is a must
Dependable attendance
A positive attitude and good work ethic
