*Office Manager Job Description (Dental Field)**
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to oversee the administrative operations of our dental practice. The Office Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and smooth functioning of the office, managing staff, and delivering exceptional customer service to our patients.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Staff Management:**
- Address any performance issues as needed.
2. **Patient Relations:**
- Ensure that patients receive excellent customer service throughout their visit to the office.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate scheduling and appointment booking to optimize patient flow and minimize wait times.
3. **Financial Management:**
- Verify insurance coverage, submitting claims, and managing accounts receivable.
4. **Office Operations:**
- Maintain office policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
5. **Technology and Systems:**
- Utilize dental practice management software to manage patient records, schedule appointments, and process billing and insurance claims.
- Stay updated on advances in dental technology and software systems, implementing improvements to enhance office efficiency.
6. **Compliance and Risk Management:**
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other legal requirements related to patient privacy and confidentiality.
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a dental setting.
3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve organizational goals.
4. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
5. Proficiency in dental practice management software( Eaglesoft) and Microsoft Office suite.
6. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance billing processes preferred.
7. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care.
