We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing audit team. In this role, you will gain valuable experience working alongside a senior auditor on a variety of audit projects. You will play a critical role in assisting with the audit process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to professional auditing standards.

Responsibilities:

• Testing financial and operational controls
• Monitor and analyze financial reports under the guidance of senior auditors.
• Assist with planning and executing audit procedures
• Perform analytical testing on financial and internal operational data
• Prepare and maintain audit working papers
• Identify and research potential audit risks
• Help prepare audit reports and presentations
• Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the organization's finances and operational procedures, including the accuracy systems.
• Make recommendations for changes in business unit systems and controls.
• Recommend improvements to inefficient processes and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date on accounting and auditing principles
• Communication with Japan Headquarter Audit Department and key stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

• Japanese and English language fluency (reading, writing, speaking)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a must)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or actively pursuing)
• Automotive or manufacturing industry experience
• Previous J-SOX or internal audit/ISO
• Compliance and Risk analysis
