Position Name: Data Scientist with AI/ML Experience

DeNOVO Solutions, LLC is seeking a Data Scientist for a pending award program, expected to commence in April 2024. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in areas such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Physics. This role provides a thrilling opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge AI/ML NLP and resource optimization system. Responsibilities include the selection, implementation, and tuning of AI/ML algorithms and models to address vital mission requirements. Collaborative problem-solving and contributing to the development roadmap in line with customer needs are key aspects of this position.

Role Expectations:

Collaborate with a software team in an Agile framework.
Develop, maintain, and rapidly troubleshoot algorithms and models.
Implement AI/ML algorithms and models, with a focus on data feature analysis for algorithm optimization.
Document design processes and team best practices.

Position Requirements:

Minimum 4 years in SW Development (A Master's Degree in a related field can substitute 2 years).
At least 2 years of AI/ML development experience.
Proficiency in Data Science, Machine Learning, Automation, and modeling workflows.
Expertise in architecting and training AI/ML models, including NLP and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Skill in mapping machine learning solutions to customer challenges.
Advanced knowledge of Python and data analysis packages (Pandas, SKLearn, R, MATLAB, SAS, MLFLOW, etc.).
Agile development team experience.
Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
Eagerness to collaborate with a diverse team of developers and analysts.

Preferred Skills:

JIRA and Confluence usage.
Experience with distributed storage and processing systems (Mongo, Elastic, Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
Knowledge of cloud services (EC2, Azure, etc.) and related technologies (REST, microservices, CI/CD, etc.).
Proficiency in advanced machine learning techniques (Torch/TensorFlow, neural network architectures).

Security Clearance Requirements: Must possess a current/active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 (Commensurate with experience)

Note: The above salary range is a guideline and represents a broad spectrum of potential compensation. We recognize that a candidate's unique experience and qualifications may justify compensation beyond this range. Therefore, we remain open to considering higher salary offers for exceptionally qualified candidates.
