About the Roles:

Construction Attorney

• Must be Florida barred with 1-3 years’ experience
• Experience in Construction Law
• Construction work experience will be considered in lieu of time in practice

Liability Attorney

• Must be Florida barred with 5 years’ experience
• Must have experience with liability law
• Responsible for handling assigned caseload including depositions, court appearances, drafting of pleadings, motions and reports
• Excellent research and writing skills

Workers’ Compensation Attorney

• Must be Florida barred with 1-3 years’ experience
• Experience and knowledge of Workers’ Compensation cases
• Experience working with the Division of Administrative Hearings and the offices of the Judges of Compensation Claims

Requirements of the Roles:

• Experience in the practice area you are applying for
• Ability to manage an assigned caseload and adhere to deadlines, ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency, delegate and prioritize as necessary
• Knowledge and experience defending and taking depositions, preparing for and attending hearings, mediations and trials at various courthouses and other locations
• Preparing pleadings, discovery/discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents
• Ability to work independently and also be a team player
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and good interpersonal skills
• Analytical thinker with above-average problem-solving skills, strong organizational and time-management skills
• You are a person of high moral character and integrity with a strong work ethic
