As an Irrigation Technician in our Residential Maintenance division, you are responsible to monitor, service, and repair irrigation systems, and perform other landscape maintenance tasks when irrigation season slows.

Work Schedule

• You’ll work Monday to Friday, up to 10-hour shifts (with overtime in the peak season), starting between 6:00 and 7:00 am depending on the season.Your workday is finished when the route is complete, which is around 8-10 hours, but this can vary.
• We provide transportation from our shop in SE Portland to job sites. You’ll drive a work van from the shop to the job sites.

What You’ll Do

• Renovate, troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems
• Evaluate irrigation systems and report conditions to Account Manager
• Provide suggestions and pricing to Account Manager to upgrade irrigation systems
• Perform spring turn-ons and winterizations
• Recommend water-wise irrigation products and upgrades to Account Manager
• Program irrigation controllers both in the field and remotely.
• Stock service vehicle with proper parts and tools in an organized manner
• Properly complete paperwork on work performed in a timely manner
• Use powered and hand tools, such as.
• Work outside in all weather conditions

What You’ll Need

• 1 year irrigation repair experience
• Experience in irrigation programing
• Valid driver license with insurable record
• Enjoy working on a team of professionals, working hard, and following instructions.
• Able to work alone and manage your own time.
• Able to use a smartphone and work apps to document hours and work completed
• Show up on time and ready for work each day.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Have legal documentation to work in the United States.
• Be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, twist, climb, and squat.
• Able to lift 50 pounds daily.
• Able to communicate in English to clients is preferred
