We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Louisville, KY. The Material Handler will be responsible for the following:
- Receiving and inspecting incoming materials and supplies
- Verifying the accuracy of shipments and ensuring that all items are properly labeled and stored
- Preparing and packaging materials for shipment to customers
- Operating a forklift to move materials and supplies throughout the warehouse
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and performing regular cycle counts
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or material handling role
- Experience operating a forklift and other warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
