Description
The Security Officer/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is a hybrid role that requires the employee to perform a variety of EMT and Security related duties. The position is located in a remote camp on the North Slope of Alaska with a rotational schedule of 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, 12-hour shifts. Lodging, meals, and transportation between Anchorage and the jobsite are covered by the company.
EMT: Under the direction of a licensed medical physician or designated healthcare provider, the EMT responds to emergency calls, administers emergency medical treatment and transports sick/injured patients to definitive care medical facilities or evaluates and treats non-emergent medical conditions.
Security: Performs security services and other infrastructure support functions based on the contract requirements. This includes providing security and protection of work site(s), personnel and assets; enforcing safety measures, operating a vehicle for patrol purposes, providing inspection and/or incident response services. Incumbents are required to be firearms licensed, trained & qualified.
