NOW HIRING – DELIVERY DRIVER
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to deliver garbage cans and dumpsters. Successful applicant will also perform general labor in and around our shop/light mechanical duties on vehicles. Responsibilities will include: Maintenance and washing of garbage trucks, prepping/delivering/cleaning trash cans and dumpsters, general maintenance/organization/cleaning of shop and yard including light landscaping duties, and ability to operate skid steer/bob cat loader. Must be physically fit as this job will require heavy lifting and climbing ladders repeatedly throughout the course of the day. Much of the work will be outside in all weather conditions. Training will be provided for specific duties as needed.
CDL is not required for this position, but will be given preference when making hiring decision.
Work week is Monday-Friday, full time, "dayshift". Ideal candidate will have a solid work ethic, be highly motivated, reliable, consistently demonstrate pride in their work, be a team player, remain flexible and adaptive to the day's assigned tasks, and have some background in basic vehicle maintenance (Oil and Air Filter Changes, Tire Pressure Checks/Rotations, ability to monitor/adjust standard vehicle system fluid levels, etc.)
Starting wages are $20 per hour DOE or license, with paid vacation earned after a specific period of employment. Preference given to prior military members/veterans
