DeltaHawk Engines, Inc. is Hiring an Aircraft Technician III Near Racine, WI

What does an Aircraft Technician do at DeltaHawk?

As an aircraft technician you will be responsible to maintain DeltaHawk experimental and certified aircraft. You will work closely with both engine and integration engineers on packaging and installing our engine into new and existing airframes. You will assist in the troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues, review and provide input for proposed manuals and related Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA’s) as well as revisions to Pilots Operating Handbooks (POH’s). You will support flight testing operations as needed to collect data for the engine, aircraft performance, and development of Supplemental Type Certificates (STC’s).

What you bring to the table

Believe safety is the most critical attribute needed when working on aircraft.
An A&P mechanic (preferably with I.A.) and have at least six years of industry experience, preferably in the General Aviation (GA) sector working on piston powered aircraft.
Work well as an individual, are driven to “get it done”, and can adapt quickly to change.
Work well in a collaborative team environment to troubleshoot engine and related avionics systems
Strong attention to detail
An effective communicator and can clearly articulate concerns and issues.
Coordinate and mentor junior level technicians effectively.
