DeltaCare is Hiring an Occupational Therapist Near Columbus, GA

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Part-Time Occupational Therapist to join our team in Columbus, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities and limitations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals.
  • Utilize various therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate patients' rehabilitation.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on strategies to manage daily activities safely and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current Georgia Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule:

Part-time, flexible hours. Specific schedule to be determined based on candidate availability.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
