Our clients are seeking Sub-Teachers in your area! Substitute Teachers are assigned to classrooms who need assistance to maintain appropriate and equitable participation in school.
CLIENT'S HOURLY RATE & AVAILABLE HOURS
- Starting at $25/hrl depending on Contractor's qualifications, availability, and skills.
- Monday-Friday (8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.)
- Follow the lesson plan(s) left by the teacher for whom you are substituting in accordance with district philosophy, goals and objectives.
- Prepares and implements learning and skills development plans for targeted population, on a weekly and/or monthly basis.
- Designs and implements developmentally appropriate individual and/or group activities and learning opportunities according to individual needs and learning styles.
- Provides individual and/or group direction, guidance and supervision of children in the performance of developmental activities.
- Prepares instructional, developmental, and recreational materials, facilities, and equipment in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, and standards; instructs, guides and/or supervises children in the proper and safe use of facilities and equipment.
- Instructs and monitors children in the development of proper health care and hygiene skills; as appropriate to position, performs nutrition and hygiene procedures as necessary for children too young or otherwise unable to provide for themselves.
- As appropriate to position, prepares and supervises meals and snacks for children participating in programs.
- Interacts with parents and community groups; maintains open and cooperative communication with parents and families, encouraging their involvement in the program and supporting the child's family relationships.
- Performs routine cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of center facilities and equipment.
- May lead, guide, and train staff/student employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work; may participate in the recruitment of volunteers, as appropriate to the area of operation.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA, Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education
- PA Substitute Teaching Certification or willing to go through emergency certification/building sub permit process
- Ability to complete and satisfactorily pass State Criminal Record Check, State Child Abuse, Department of Education FBI.
Additional InformationCandidates replying to this role also usually have experience or interest in other roles including Sub Teacher, Assistant Teacher, Teacher Aide, and Teaching Assistant.
