Security Dispatcher Supervisor

Shift: Daytime Shift

***WORKING WEEKENDS IS REQUIRED***

Full-Time hours available.

You like people and appreciate a fast paced, challenging work environment. You are always polite, professional and courteous and have a guard card. This position is in an office environment where your main responsibilities are talking to people in person, on the phone and via email / text. You’ll sometimes be called upon to work overtime and weekends and you’re experienced for using a computer is at an intermediate level or higher. 

Objective: 

Dispatch Supervisor shall provide excellent customer service to clients and employees. You will provide in-house support to supervisors & managers and act as the receptionist and supervise over a deisapch team. You will also use a computer to monitor employee activity, use multi-line phone system, email, other common computer programs and stay in direct contact with managment team. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for scheduling the dispatch team within the company guidelines.
  • Supervise, direct, assign work, and evaluate the dispatch staff.
  • Supervise dispatcher to meet company goals, ensure safe work practices, work quality, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Resolve day-to-day issues and problems regarding dispatch staff and equipment.
  • Make independent decisions and authorize actions in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, administration, evaluation, interpretation, and updating of dispatch policies and procedures.
  • Work with employees to correct deficiencies; recommend discipline and termination procedures.
  • Relaying and verifying to officers in the field scheduling information, post orders, company policy & procedures through monitoring activity and communications through phone, texts, email, and face to face interactions.
  • Using telephone, text messaging, and various software to contact employees, management team and/or emergency personnel.
  • General management of all software and systems for the continuous flow of the dispatch team.
  • Logging and tracking required documentation in relation to all applicable job sites, patrol sites and office locations.
  • Working with managers to resolve problems, requests for services and client needs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through professional and on-time service.
  • Maintain records of dispatched calls, patrol routes, update changes, as necessary to keep accurate information.
  • Logging customer complaints to continuously find ways to improve customer service.
  • Attend necessary meetings with team members.
  • Welcome visitors, assist them in their needs and direct them to appropriate departments.

In addition to the above you must complete other job-related functions as they may arise from time to time.

Skills Required:

You must speak confidently and professionally in person, over the phone & in written communication like email & reports. Strong organizational skills and time management is required. You must be a self-starter and take projects from start to finish unsupervised. You must work well with others as part of a team. Experience using common computer programs and office equipment is required. Proficiency with mobile devices and apps are required.

Requirements:

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age; be available to work any shift, holidays, and weekends; work scheduled and occasional overtime; be available for call back as required; attend classes, seminars, and workshops as required; and comply with company grooming standards.

Schedule:

Delta Protective Services is proud of our in-house 24/7/365 dispatch fusion center. You’ll work as an hourly employee in an office environment. Working weekends is required and may be directed to work additional hours at the direction of a supervisor or manager.

Your weekly schedule at minimum will be Tuesday - Saturday 8:30am to 5:30pm. (Occasional Shift Changes Based on Company Needs)
