Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Hotel Junior Sales Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving sales and revenue growth for our hotel through effective sales strategies and client relationship management. You will work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure the achievement of targets and the maintenance of exceptional customer service standards.

The typical schedule for this position is Tuesday through Saturday.

Join our exceptional team at a competitive pay rate (45-50k/Yr) plus a quarterly and annual incentive plan up to 20% of base pay and benefits (401k, PTO, Vacation, Holiday and Health Insurance) for Full-Time associates.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Sales Generation: Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
• Sales Strategy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
• Proposal Preparation: Prepare persuasive sales proposals and presentations tailored to the needs and preferences of prospective clients.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team, marketing department, and other hotel departments to ensure cohesive efforts in achieving sales and revenue goals.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, achievements, and forecasts to the sales manager.
• Customer Service: Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service to clients before, during, and after their stay, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
• Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks related to sales, including maintaining accurate records, updating customer databases, and preparing sales contracts.
• As required of all hotel associates, assist any customer or potential customer in a prompt, courteous, friendly and helpful manner at all times.
• Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
