Job Description

The Final Docs Specialist is responsible for various tracking and delivery of specific documents. This includes but is not limited to the tracking of all mortgage deeds, ensuring they are received and recorded in the correct corresponding counties confirming all pages and legal descriptions are attached. This position also assists with documentation retrieval of all Fannie Mae audits and Sales as well as PMI claims and PMI audits. The Final Docs Specialist role also carries many administrative duties, including address changes, the delivery of daily mail and FedEx packages. Included in this role is the handling of various requests for supplies and manages request for copier maintenance when out of order, or the ordering of toner needed for the copiers in the PTC location.
Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Essential Functions:
  • Track, file and ensure the correct recording of all mortgage deeds
  • Responsible for shredding documentation at the appropriate time.
  • Responsible for completion of all address change requests.
  • Assist with the retrieval in the pulling of all needed documentation for Fannie Mae audits and sales.
  • Order monthly property inspections on REO properties.
  • Provide assistance in sending cancelled deeds to members.
  • Maintain logs and reports.
  • Responsible for the delivery of all FedEx and daily mail.

Job Qualifications

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer skills with proficiency of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with oral and written communication with both internal and external members in a professional, courteous manner.
  • Detail orientated with good analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Self-starter, self-reliant, dependable, ability to work within and meet specific time lines.
  • Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • 2 years’ work experience in Mortgage Servicing, Accounting and/or Bookkeeping in a Credit Union or Financial Industry.
