Job Description : the Assistant Store Manager is responsible for facilitating and supervising daily operations at a store to make sure that employees work together effectively to make sales and contribute to shop upkeep. Duties also include communicating with our warehouse about inventory and keeping the store stocked, scheduling employee shifts and training new employees. It is also expected that Assistant Store Manager have adequate physical strength to successfully unload shipments and restock the store. Open 7 days a week - shifts are from 9:00am-6:00pm.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS.
Assistant Store Managers are responsible for managing the store when the Manager is not there, which includes overseeing sales, staff and inventory.
Duties :
Supervise, train and assist employees in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions
Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store.
Maintain proper inventory levels, order products to stock the store and perform quarterly inventory processes.
Supervise, train and assist employees in customer service, store maintenance and product promotions.
Supervise cross-training of employees to maintain productivity at all ties.
Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
Assist with hiring and training as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Required Skills -MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN RETAIL

-Strong sales abilities
-Great communication skills, must communicate with Headquarters on staffing issues, questions and general day to day activities at the store.
-Ability to operate basic business software programs
-Must be able to run a register and make change
Job Requirements -Must have management experience
-Must be able to work weekends/busiest days of the week THURSDAY through SATURDAY
-Must be able to lift 50lbs.
-Must be able to stand for long periods of time
